Atwood Ranch Naturally is hiring individuals experienced in horse health and reproduction (levels 2/3) to assist with herd health and maintenance, foaling out, reproduction, feeding, nutrition, and mare and foal handling under the guidance of the on-site veterinarian and horse developer. They are also offering apprenticeships (levels 3/4) in the Parelli Pre-School Program, working closely with Jake Shoemark, the Head of Horse Development. The ranch is located near Orland, in northern California. For more information, please visit the Atwood Ranch Naturally website.
At Equine Partners, Inc, we have a part-time position available in our Working Student Program. Our working students learn all aspects of horsekeeping from a natural perspective while participating in the day-to-day operations of a working horse ranch. Students interact with more than a dozen horses (and two miniature donkeys), gaining experience with different equine personalities while building confidence, communication, and leadership skills.
The EPI Working Student Program gives preference to Parelli students of any level — including Level 1! You don’t need a lot of previous experience, but you must be dedicated to learning natural horsemanship. For more information, read the full Working Student Program description and then give me a call at (530) 559-1602.
Thank you for reposting, Erin. I will be out of the office for the summer, teaching in the field and assisting at the CO campus, you can always find me on Parelli Connect!
Enjoy your summer…
