My goal is to help you get the most out of your relationship with your horse — including staying safe and having fun on the trail. Our EPI lesson program includes trail prep lessons both in and out of the arena.
Note that we can no longer offer instructional trail rides on local trails. All trail instruction takes place at our ranch in Penn Valley, California.
Preparation is key, so we’ll play with ditches, jumps, brush piles, trailers, bicycles, pedestrians, plastic milk bottles, and other challenges on the ground. When you and your horse are ready, we’ll mount up and practice on the ranch trail course. We also practice trailering, ponying other horses, and handling spooky situations along with other skills for success on the trail.
