You can take lessons at the EPI ranch in Penn Valley, CA, or at your own location. Students actively in the EPI program may also board their horse at the ranch. (Contact Erin for eligibility requirements and space availability.)
Many of our students bring their own horses to their lessons, but don’t let the lack of a trailer (or a horse) stop you from exploring natural horsemanship at EPI. We provide lesson horses at no additional charge, or for full immersion, consider our lesson-lease program.
The EPI Program includes a combination of lessons and horse development. We’ll work with you to determine the right balance of lessons and training sessions, based on your horsemanship goals, your horse’s needs, and your budget. You are always welcome to observe your horse’s training sessions. See the Horse Development page for more info.
Thank you so much for today’s lesson. I’m still feeling exhilarated from it. I want you to know how much I appreciate your organized and patient teaching style. It makes the lessons such a pleasure.Alison
