Our youth summer program emphasizes safety and fun in all aspects of playing with horses and handling horses day-to-day. This is a comprehensive program that emphasizes clear communication, mutual respect, and willing teamwork — skills that benefit youth in all aspects of their lives, not just horsemanship.
The session includes a variety of activities and may include:
- Balance exercises
- Ground play and riding
- Grooming and caring for horses
- Unmounted and mounted games
- Group horsemanship lessons
- Comparative anatomy
- Bathing and grooming horses
- Play time on the ranch
Youth Summer Program 2022
- July 11, 12, 13, and 14
- 9am to 11am each day
- $200 per student for one session or $700 per student for all four sessions
Erin and Lisa are teaming up to provide an awesome horse camp experience this year! There will be a mix of riding and non-riding activities, using both arenas and the entire ranch property, and it’s going to be a lot of fun. This is horse camp, not horse homework, after all. (Of course, our students love their horse homework….)
No previous horse experience is necessary. Our program is a great introduction to horsemanship and all things equine. Participants will play with our ponies and horses in an environment dedicated to everyone’s safety and well-being.
