About Austin

Austin has been well maintained with the best care. Handsome, good bone, no fly allergies or other health concerns. Up to date on dental, vaccines, de-worming, and farrier (4 shoes) He is well socialized and can live with mares or geldings. He can be on pasture or hay.

He is a great family trail horse. He is currently a favorite in our Natural Horsemanship lesson program. He is kind, gentle and safe. Safe for beginners or kids to groom, tack and bathe him. He is part of our kids camp and if a beginner rider is on he will follow the horse in front of him on the trail. He is ridden in a rope halter or bridle, bareback, english or western. He has a nice walk, trot and canter. His trot is smooth. He can do a slow jog or move out into a forward trot. He has a showmanship background so he is light and easy on the ground, online or at liberty.

Austin is ready for a family to enjoy on the trail and some arena riding. He can be ridden in any position on the trail. Not spooky, walks over tarps, bridges, water, logs etc. He is gentle and will not dive for grass. He is uncomplicated and handles new situations well. Great with dogs and other horses.

We want him to find a family that wants to trail ride and add a wonderful horse to their herd.
